Townsville Science Comedy

The Science Comedy Program is debuting in Townsville! And we are calling on researchers and scientists - as well as specialists such as engineers, IT workers and more to join!

The program consists of training with comedians, scriptwriters and public speaking specialists.

Each participant in the program will give a 10-minute talk that’s 80% science and 20% comedy.

The science comedy show at the end of the program is titled Future Science Talks: Comedy Edition. It will be held on 5 and 6 October in Townsville at the North Australian Festival of Arts (NAFA).

This show has been sold out across Australia and is featured in the nation’s best comedy and arts festivals.
